Christmas Teddy Bears, Children's Hospital Outreach:
Purchase stuffed animal for a child who will be in the hospital prior to and/or over Christmas.
Bring stuffed Animal back to Hope by Dec. 9
Our youth group will deliver stuffed animals to hospitalized children on Dec 23rd.
Bring a friend, a wrapped Christmas ornament ($10 or greater value) and an appetizer to share.
Prepare for some good fellowship, good food, and a few "heated" exchanges as ornaments get picked and stolen!
We are requesting volunteers to help us host the event and make a positive impression on the several dozen families who will attend.

Mondays: Hope FIT (faith in training) Everyone of all ages and fitness levels are welcome! Hope FIT is a small group that meets Mondays 7-8:30 pm for a devotional, fitness teaching and exercise. Runners, walkers and bikers welcome!

Laurel Ridge has our current church property under contract, pending approval of re-zoning. We have the Church Alive property at 18850 Redland Rd. under contract to purchase contingent upon the closing of our sale to Laurel Ridge. The Church Alive property is roughly 5 acres with about 6500 sq. ft. of building space. We currently have 10 acres with 4800 sq. ft. of building space.
Laurel Ridge will be sending representatives to the Redland Woods Homeowners Association meeting in late August. Their purpose is to announce their plans to the Homeowners Association and seek their support and cooperation in the re-zoning effort. This would allow them to get onto the docket for the zoning commission meeting in either September or October.
Once the property is re-zoned, a closing date will be set. After closing the sale of our property to Laurel Ridge, we will then close on the purchase of the Church Alive property. We will then have up to 6 months to lease back the building we sold to Laurel Ridge, (our current location) until our new space is ready to occupy. There are a few things we will have to do to the building we are purchasing before we can move in, so we will use the leaseback time to get that work done.
Until then, it is business as usual at Hope! Please pray for a good reception at the Homeowners Association meeting, and for the favor of the zoning commission in approving this request.
